Hirsutism

This is the term used for an increase in hair growth in women. This can be on the chin, moustache, sideburns or any other part of the body. It is very important to know that some ethnic groups such as Mediterranean's are more hairy than their western counterparts. That is called hypertrichosis. Hirsutism can be quite embarrassing socially but our clinic has laser equipment which can treat hair of all skin types.
